Western Belting Innovations, Inc. ("Western Belting Innovations," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Belt Link mobile and desktop web application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, the choices available to you, and your rights regarding your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following narrow categories of information strictly in connection with the operation of the App:

Account and Profile Information: Customer account profiles—including full name, business email address, business physical shipping address, and telephone numbers—are entered manually into our database by Western Belting Innovations, Inc. administrators during secure corporate account provisioning. We also store your assigned access role (Administrator or Customer), corporate organization affiliation, and related administrative system settings.
Authentication Credentials: Secure email addresses and encrypted password profiles used exclusively to log in to the App.
Proprietary Engineering Data (Administrator Access Only): Deep, proprietary industrial belt engineering specifications logged directly by Western Belting Innovations field technicians and administrators. This includes, but is not limited to, pitches, flight tolerances, core compound materials, sprocket metrics, tooth profiles, and related mechanical measurements. This data is stored in a separate, administrator-only database partition and is enforced by server-side security rules — Customer User accounts cannot access it through the App or its underlying API.
Customer-Visible Belt Registry Data: For Customer User accounts, the App displays a limited subset of asset information necessary for inventory identification and quote requests: Tag Name/Asset ID, Material, Width, Length, basic dimensional fields used for quoting, and the associated Asset Photograph. Deep proprietary engineering specifications remain administrator-only as described above.
Asset Photographs (User Content): The App accesses, uploads, and displays tight-cropped photographs of industrial conveyor belt assets. These images are captured by Western Belting Innovations, Inc. field technicians or uploaded by authorized users through the device camera specifically for asset identification, registry management, and quotation processing.
Quote Requests: Structural metadata and asset reference identification submitted when an authorized corporate user requests a formal commercial price or installation quote through the App's user interface.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to fulfill core operational business objectives:

Authenticate authorized corporate users and enforce strict role-based access controls across our belt registries.
Isolate, store, synchronize, and securely display belt measurement and asset data across authorized company devices.
Process incoming commercial quote requests and facilitate rapid service communication with your designated Western Belting Innovations account team.
Maintain permanent, accurate business records associated with belt assets, equipment history, and B2B customer relationships.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize App reliability, system security, and data infrastructure performance.

3. Asset Photography & Facility Compliance

Belt Link utilizes asset photographs strictly for technical engineering, fabrication, and identification purposes.

Photography Restrictions & Authority Warranty: Photographic documentation within the App is restricted strictly to the physical conveyor belting asset, its immediate tracking components, serial tags, and localized mechanical configurations. Photographs explicitly exclude broader facility layouts, proprietary processing machinery, or surrounding plant infrastructure.

By permitting or authorizing Western Belting Innovations, Inc. personnel on-site and utilizing the Belt Link application, the customer organization represents and warrants that the individual granting physical or verbal permission to capture localized asset photographs possesses explicit corporate authority to authorize such technical photography and, where applicable, to waive facility-wide photography restrictions, signage rules, or Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) limitations solely for this limited engineering purpose.

Western Belting Innovations, Inc. does not use asset photographs for marketing, advertising, facility surveillance, or any purpose unrelated to belt asset engineering and customer service. All photographs are stored securely within an encrypted database platform isolated entirely from public access.

4. Acceptance of Policy & Update Protocol

Users are required to explicitly review and accept this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms & Conditions upon initial account setup or onboarding. To maintain transparent compliance, you will also be prompted to review and re-affirm your acceptance whenever material updates or revisions are made to this Privacy Policy or the Terms. Access to the Belt Link database registry is contingent upon submitting this electronic acceptance when updated policies are issued.

5. No Sale or Third-Party Sharing of Data

Belt Link features zero integrations with third-party advertising networks, tracking cookies, commercial data-brokers, or behavioral analytics services.

We do not sell, rent, license, trade, or distribute user data, corporate details, physical belt specifications, asset photographs, or any other personal or business information to third parties for marketing, advertising, profiling, or commercial exploitation purposes.

Information is processed only through our secure infrastructure providers (described below) as necessary to operate the App, to comply with enforceable legal obligations, or to execute explicit user directions (such as routing a quote request to our office team).

6. Data Storage, Security, & Isolation

The App uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) as its backend infrastructure providers to securely host account credentials, profile data, measurement logs, and asset photographs.

Encryption: All data transmitted between the App and the hosting environments is encrypted in transit via secure HTTPS/TLS protocols and encrypted at rest within Google Cloud infrastructure.

B2B Isolation: Data access is governed by strict, server-side Firebase Security Rules. Customer data is completely sandboxed by corporate entity identifiers, ensuring that users from one company can never view, query, or expose data belonging to an unrelated customer organization.

7. Data Retention

Personal user account profiles are retained while your corporate account remains active. Belt measurement records, asset history logs, and proprietary engineering data associated with an industrial asset or customer organization constitute essential business supply-chain logs and may be retained permanently as foundational corporate history even after an individual employee's user login profile is deactivated or deleted.

8. Account Deletion & Your Right to Erasure

You have the right to request immediate closure of your account and erasure of your personal user profile details at any time, without undue delay.

In-App Deletion: This can be executed directly within the App interface by navigating to Account → Delete Account and confirming your request with your profile password.

Effect of Deletion: Upon processing a successful account deletion request, your personal login credentials, name, corporate email address, and individual user role assignment are permanently and irreversibly purged from our authentication systems.

Exclusions: As noted in Section 7, historical company belt registry data, physical dimensions, and asset photos previously logged by administrators tied to a commercial facility are corporate business records of Western Belting Innovations, Inc. and are not subject to individual user erasure.

Manual Request Pathway: If you are unable to access the in-app deletion mechanism, you may submit a formal, written request to llamaswbi@gmail.com. We will verify and process legitimate profile purges within a reasonable business timeframe.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is built exclusively for authorized commercial, industrial, and business-to-business use. It is not directed at, nor intended for use by, children under the age of 13 (or 16 in relevant jurisdictions). We do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at our discretion to reflect security refactors or changes to our application architecture. Material modifications will be posted openly within the App interface with an updated effective date. A user's continued interaction with the application following the posting of an updated policy constitutes complete acceptance of the revised terms.
